Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is very cute and easy to explore, with lots of great cafes, restaurants, temples, and markets. We accidentally went during the Flower Festival in February, and it was amazing so can highly recommend!
Pro tip: In the beginning of the year, farmers in the region usually burn their fields to remove crop residue. We recommend to avoid going during that time, especially from mid-March to-mid April, the air quality can be really bad.
