Lindau
Super cute town just a short drive (or ferry ride) from Switzerland. The old town is basically a little island right on the lake Constance. It has many beautiful restaurants, cafés and bars, and we can highly recommend you to explore all the alleyways and the cute shops they contain.
Pro tip: If the weather’s good enough, bring your bathing suit, rent a paddle boat (we call them “Pedalo”) and spend some time chilling on Lake Constance. We have had a good experience with renting from Bootsverleih Lindau Inh.A.Senninger (though for sure there are also many other good boat rental places).
