Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum
This one will be emotionally tough, but wow. It is one of the most brutally honest and impactful museums I have ever been to. I still remember many of the rooms and stories. It is incredibly well done, and you learn so much about Cambodia's history.
Pro tip: Get the audio guide. Trust us, it is really worth it. You can navigate through it yourself, so you can always match the audio to where you are standing in the museum, and it flexibly allows you to, pause, rewind, or skip as needed.
**Pro pro tip:**
Bring cash for the entrance fee. I think we paid around KHR 40,000 per person for entry and the audio guide, though usually in Cambodia they also accept US dollars if that's more convenient for you.
