Cenang beach

This is the beach where we spent the most time. Think stunning white sand and turquoise blue water. One caveat compared to places like Phuket or Bintan (at least during prime season): the water felt a bit less clear, so while we really enjoyed spending time at the beach, we spent a bit less time in the water than usual. There is also not a huge amount of infrastructure like sunbeds or beach clubs, but we managed to find a small water sports place renting out sunbeds, so it is definitely possible. Around the beach, there are lots of restaurants, cafés, and bars (for example Kalut), and in the evening, the street running parallel to the beach really comes to life.
