Haw Par Villa
I feel like Haw Par Villa is a bit underrated. It is kind of difficult to describe, but basically an outdoor museum (with an indoor part too) that tells stories from Chinese folklore, supposedly with the intention of teaching certain moral values. The way it does this is through detailed statues and 3D scenes, almost like a cartoon brought to life, except the “pictures” feel a bit like intricate dollhouses. It is somehow a little eerie because it is usually quite empty, but also really beautiful and just super interesting to walk around. Oh, and most of it is even free.
