Rentenwiese
If the weather is good, packing a swimming suit and a towel and heading to Rentenwiese is always a good idea. It’s one of the spots the locals go to enjoy the lake of Zurich. It can get crowded, but usually that’s not really an issue because there is a looooot of space.
Pro tip: Before arriving, stop at a Migros or Coop (local grocery store), and grab some fresh fruit, veggies, snacks and something good to drink.
Pro pro tip: If you’re feeling extra fancy, add some BBQ things and buy a little disposable grill (they usually sell them at all grocery stores close to the lake).
